52 Fridays ~ Week 6 ~ Photo Booth Fun
I am working on a new photo booth set up and who better to test it out on.....KIDS!! Just give them a few fun props, get out the camera and it is endless fun. I still have a few things to work out so I had to promise they could help me on another day soon. Here are some of the funny faces they came up with.

Birthday Weekend ~ Ray County Family Photographer
Saturday was my birthday and I have to say, it was a great day. I started off doing what I love. I got to take pictures of my oldest friend and her family. When I say oldest, I don't mean she's old (that would mean I'm old). I mean I have been friends with her as long as it is even possible for me to be friends with someone. We've been friends since we were born. I won't say how long we have been friends because that would give away our ages. We don't get to see each other very often because life gets in the way and well, we are at very different stages in our lives. My family is about grown and hers is just starting. So I was so excited to get to hang out with her and her husband and their adorable son. We had lots of fun. Here is a little peak at Mr. "J". He was so funny. Check out those eyelashes! Thanks Georgia. I really had a great time.
Then I spent the afternoon with my girls, Britt and Sky, going to goodwill and consignment shops. The Pinterest bug has bit us hard and we are on the lookout for all sorts of treasures.
I then had to take Harley, our ten month old lab, to school. She will be gone for an entire month. I'm sad but she will be so smart when she comes home. You'll be hearing lots more about her in the next few weeks.
To finish off my day, Aaron and Sky took me to dinner. We ate at the sports bar at Ameristar. My one reason for wanting to eat there is their spinach artichoke dip. It is life changing. Okay, maybe that is a little dramatic. But I have yet to find any better. That's why we have to keep going back.
Well it was an awesome birthday and I don't even feel any older. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I got to do a Christmas session with a couple of my favorite little models again this year. For some reason I thought taking pictures of a one and a three year old would be so much easier than it was last year when they were eight months and 2 years. Not sure what my logic was. We did have a lot of fun though. Luckily I was the only adult here because I had to make a total fool of myself to get cooperation at times but as you can see, it was all worth it. Here is a little sample of what we ended up with. Aren't they just the cutest?

Monkey Boots
It has been a trying couple of days. Emotions running high for several different reasons. I just can't get my mind to stop racing. If I could only think of something else, something that would just make you want to laugh out loud............hmm..........MONKEY BOOTS!
I took pics of one of my favorite little models in his favorite pair of boots a few weeks ago. I decided I would get them out and share them. Who could look at that little face or even say "monkey boots" without cracking a little smile. So I wish all of you, and myself too, a "monkey boot" kind of day tomorrow.
