Recently the Hubs and I got away for the weekend, to Omaha to celebrate
our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a great time. We stayed downtown
and took in a concert. We were able to walk all over the downtown area
from our hotel. It is a really cool place. Lots of little shops and
restaurants. We will definitely be going back. While we were there we
checked out the zoo. It had been years since we were there. Although
it wasn't as awesome as I had remembered it from all those years ago, I
did get some great pics. Here are just a few.

You got some AWESOME shots! I went to the zoo in Seattle last week with 6 kids so I only brought my 50mm and the only good shot of an animal I got was an elephant. And yay for a fun weekend with the husband!

Thanks everyone! I got really lucky with a couple of the animals. A zookeeper happened to be feeding the bear. And the lion was really watching a little kid, so he was right up to the glass. I am definitely gonna try again sometime.
Yana - The white tiger was the only one who wasn't napping. I'm really glad because I think they are beautiful.
